ES and YM were selling off. NQ wasn't following.
Took a Double Break short on NQ this afternoon and lost.
Being slower to fall didn't mean it had to catch up.
Accepted the loss and finished the session without chasing it back.

Two wins this morning.
Still caught myself watching the weekly P&L.
Double Break short on $NQ, then a trend short on DAX.
The next challenge: don't let protecting a green week change how I trade. Focus on the setup.
A countertrend win doesn't mean the trend changed. Double Break long on NQ this afternoon. Took profit at the opening-range high as planned, before the market sold off again. One fast win. Still a red day overall.
My long bias blinded me to the shorts this morning. Tried a Double Break long on $NQ while the short-term trend was down. Entered before the candle closed and took a loss. Wait for the close. Trade the signal, not the bias.
🔴2 trades this afternoon.
The ideas were right, but execution was off.
I took the first DB entry out of fear of missing the trade, even though I knew the setup wasn't convincing.
Need to stay disciplined. Ended the day slightly red.
Morning Trade
Double Break Short on MNQ. Took some time to unfold, but great trade, if we are able to get it right on the first try.
🟢Green day
-Â reversed a position Long targeting overnight VWAP during London
-Â Double Break Long on NQ
-Â 2 scalps 1w 1L
No trades yd.
Fast two trades into London open and done for the day. It's Monday plus bank holiday on US so not a great time to push and keep watching charts.
End up small green as i play it wrong on the first trade and did not fully exit at TP (ORL)
Enjoy your day traders!
